It is important to explore other areas of life that you have not been exposed to in order to find what you are passionate about. Spend one day each week going somewhere or doing something that you have never gone to or done before. Maybe it will be something that you did long ago or something that you have heard about that sounds interesting to you.
One of my clients took a job in a department store because she loved shopping and thought she might want to open her own retail store. By working in a store for two months she realized that she would feel too confined to work inside all day every day. If you spend some time each week exploring what you are thinking about you can compare and contrast how you feel doing different kinds of activities.
