I have been working with a client who is in her seventies. She is writing an ebook about the years she spent teaching in the public schools in Los Angeles. Her ebook is almost finished and she still hasn't done some of the things I teach my other students. She doesn't have a blog and she doesn't want to get any publicity for what she is writing about. Her reason? She told me that she is just too old for that.
I do not believe anyone is too old to follow their dreams and live their life with passion. That is just an excuse that we give ourselves when we are afraid. We convince ourselves that we are too old, too young, too fat, too poor, too unworthy, etc. But that is just not true. Don't allow limiting beliefs to stop you from reinventing yourself and doing the things you dream of accomplishing. You can do it if you take that first step in the direction of your passion.
