We are responsible for the way we feel. Many of us do not like to hear that because we want to blame someone or something for what is going wrong. Instead, see how you feel. Express the feeling in words so that you can name the emotion that is coming out. Just identifying the feeling is a good place to begin.
Now, reach for a better feeling thought. If you are angry, reach for resentment. If you are feeling hopelessness, reach for overwhelm. Each step will bring yu closer to joy, but you will not be able to do it overnight. Take the time each day to check in with yourself and work on moving up to the better feeling thought. You can do it.
