As most of you know, I reinvented myself by starting a new career at the age of 50. I now write every day and make my living by teaching others how to write articles, blogs, and write an eBook to build passive income from home.
Recently I began attending live events where many of these people who also work on the internet are speaking. The relationships I have created with these people have been rewarding in so many ways, the least of which is financial. We find that we have so much in common and build a relationship that is sure to last for years to come.
I encourage you to find out where the people you want to connect with are meeting. If there is an annual conference or other gathering, plan on attending it. Our world is growing smaller due to the use of telephones, email, and blogs, but there is nothing that can replace the feeling you have when you meet someone in person.
